last day before we leave the kingdom of cambodia

Dearest SK colleagues and students,
the last 24 hours in Siem Reap was really wonderful:). Angkor Wat, Tak Phrom and Bayon Temple were the most awesome and magnificent places that I've seen for the past 28 years (now u know my real age). The view was breathtaking and all of us were busy snapping pictures away. Love the ancient feel of the temples and it really brought me back to the movie " Tomb Raider".

Tonle Sap lake was the other highlight of the day where we cruised through it with 30+ safety jackets (NOBODY ELSE cruising was wearing it!!!! arghh) on us. Markets, houses, basketball courts, church were found on the floating platforms and i really wonder how the people survive in these kind of conditions!!! The most interesting thing was that a speed boat came so close to us and a little girl actually lept over to our boat to sell us ice cold drinks! Hearts the sunset that we saw in Tonle Sap Lake too!!!!

Last but not the least, we demonstrated the singaporean shopping spirit by bargaining out hearts out in the market. Cheers to Shaik, Eunice Chew and Ms Jarina for making our shopping trip a memorable one!!

I wanna be back in cambodia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

love,
Ms Sem
