cambodia experience so far..

Diarrheoa, vomitting, fever made our experience memorable last night.. I guess this was part and parcel of going to a country where we can't get used to the food and weather. Anyway, not to worry, everyone is more or less fine now. Albeit only finishing 70% of the painting works( the art work is still not done yet :[ ), we felt a sense of achievement for doing what we can to contribute to KROBEI Primary school. The student leaders had a challenging time trying to teach the primary school kids as most of them were quite reserved when facing the crowd. Ha, i guess this will teach them how dificult it is for their own teachers to prepare teaching resources and having to handle 40 of them back in Singapore. heh. But i would like to applaud one person, Faye Lai (from NPCC, 3E4) for having a lot of enthusiasm and trying her best in engaging all the kids.

The afternoon session was relatively more physical as SKYouths have to lay cement and bricks to build the toilet cubicle. Most of them were engaged in painting works for one of the buildings and 3 classrooms. Well done to all the leaders who work their guts out to ensure that the children have a better environment to study in! It was indeed a satisfying CIP for all of us:).

Pictures will be up soon..the network here is too laggy! Ciao!
