GROUP E (ENT) DAY 1 & DAY 2 EXPERIENCE IN SIEM REAP.

GROUP E (ENT):
Day 1-

My first impression of Siem Reap (within the Airport)
I was quite shock when I reached the airport as there’s totally no airport at all, just the planes run way. There aren’t any planes in sight!

My second impression of Siem Reap (within Siem Reap City)
The place is not hot that peaceful and we can see many things which can’t be experience in Singapore. It is quite difficult for us to adapt at first.
Silk worm farm
The farm is really quite smelly as all the silk worm stays there till they die. They make every silk worth it to be costly and its really very silky. Although the shop sells the silk very expensive, but it is worth to buy. ^^
The primary school (my first impression)
The primary school really requires many improvements like the colour of the classroom and how the tables and chairs should be arranged to ensure maximum efficiency.
The land mine museum
After what had happened in the World War 2, nearly one million of Cambodians lives had been loss. I think that the world should be a peaceful place, without waar and people won't be suffering.
The farm orphanage
The farm orphanage is somwehere which i find it very warming and loving. The orphans there are really very pitiful and innocent. Although i may know some girls at the age of mine, their education wasn't really great. They could only speak and write basic language of English. Seeing them in this type of living conditions yet very happy, I'm so blessed to be so fortunate to live in Singapore and i ought to be happier than any of the orphans.

DAY 2-

CIP @ Krobei: My thoughts and feelings
When I first visit the school, I feel so weird as so many pairs of young eyes looking of us. However, this feelings only stay for while. We are appointed to one class for one hour to teach English for the student over there. At first it is hard for us to lead them as we are lack of the teaching materials however we are able to teach them smoothly in the end. I can feel that they were happy. After that, we move out to the open land to give out clothes. The situation was chaotic. After that we split into groups and we were chosen to build the toilet. We had to carry 50kg cement and 6 pails of soil to be able to make perfect cement.

Visit to the old market
I find that the market is a very good place for tourists to go. I can buy cheap stuffs with the help of EUNICE CHEW. :D There's a lot of stuffs to buy and bargain. ^^ The people there are totally friendly when we visited their shop. (:
