Day 1 with the Alpha team

Suesdei!

This is group Alpha, with members; Khatir, Nelly, Cer Lin,Alex and Darius.Each of us will write a reflection that had impacted us the most during the trip for the current past 2 days.

Khatir Shahidi,Nelly,Cer lin,Alex and Darius;
Cambodia is wonderful; it is a really down-to-earth place that I would love to stay in.
The place that affected me and my SOUL the most is at Krobei Primary School.
I love to see students being educated as they would know what their goal in their life is.
They are at their first step of learning ‘Awnglay’ which means English.
I am also learning Cambodia.
Education is important and it really taught me that life depends on Education.
Suffer now,enjoy later.So we have to fight hard and take risk, so that our life maybe easier in the future.

Next is the farm orphanage. It’s something that deeply affected us. When we first alight the bus, the students were already standing there welcomming us. The students are very compassionate. They’ve showed their talents of playing musical instruments, dancing and weaving baskets. They farm too... We gave them some donations donated by our school. We believed that their touched by our actions

REFUSING TO TAKE A RISKLife means risk. People who sabotage themselves shouldn’t worry about failure as much as they should be concerned about the chances they miss when they don’t even try. “Too many people are having what might be called a “near-life experiences”. They go through life bunting, so afraid of failure what they never try to win the big prizes, never knowing the thrill of hitting a home run or even taking a swing at one.” Good bye.

‘It’s all in the mind’ – Mdm Zurina

WE MISS SINGAPORE!!!
